Our Story Founded in 2023 by Michelle Livingston, TapX Gear was born out of a passion for the martial arts community. We specialize in high-performance, durable, and stylish no-gi gear designed to handle the intensity of Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, and wrestling. Whether you’re rolling in the gym or competing on the mats, TapX delivers gear that moves with you.
A New Chapter After two successful years growing our community on the Square platform, we migrated TapX Gear to Squarespace in 2026. This move allows us to provide a more robust shopping experience and better serve our athletes. While our digital "home" has changed, our commitment to quality and the grappling community remains exactly the same as it was on day one in 2023.
Transparency & Quality We are a family-owned US business based in Killen, Alabama. Every design you see is created by us. To ensure the highest quality prints and a wide range of sizes, we partner with professional production facilities (including Printful and Printify). Your gear is "made-to-order," meaning it is printed specifically for you only after you place your order. This allows us to reduce waste and maintain strict quality standards.

Shipping & Fulfillment
At TapX Gear, we believe in quality over speed. Because our gear is designed for the rigors of combat sports, every item is made-to-order. We partner with professional production facilities (Printful & Printify) to ensure the highest durability and print quality.
Production/Handling Time: Most items are processed and printed within 3–7 business days.
Shipping/Transit Time: Once your order ships, transit typically takes 7–14 business days depending on your location.
Tracking: You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your gear is on its way.
Note: Total delivery time is usually 2–3 weeks. We are a family-owned business based in Killen, Alabama, and we appreciate your patience as we create your custom gear.
Returns & Exchanges
We want you to be 100% satisfied with your TapX Gear. Since our products are custom-made specifically for you, we have a clear policy to ensure fairness:
Damaged or Defective Items: If your gear arrives with a print error or physical defect, please contact us within 10 days of delivery at tapxgear@gmail.com with a photo of the issue. We will correct the order at no cost to you.
Size Exchanges & Returns: For non-defective items, returns must be requested within 30 days of receiving your order. Items must be in original, unworn, and unwashed condition.
Non-Returnable Items: Final sale items, clearance gear, and digital products are non-refundable.
